Tuition & Policies
Tuition
Fees are based on a sixteen week lesson term. Registration, group class, recital and accompaniment fees are included for all students.
½ HR LESSON $484
¾ HR LESSON $676
1 HR LESSON $868
Tuition may be divided and paid in two equal installments. You may also have the option of paying monthly. Payments made monthly will be due the first week of each month. A $10.00 late fee will be added to installments paid after the dates listed below and to monthly payments after the first week of the month.
Group Lessons
Group Lessons are generally held every other week during the semester. Additional group lessons may be added when preparing for a group recital or performance. Students benefit from these group experiences as it challenges them to work harder to play along with a more advanced student and conversely learn how to help a peer who may be newer to the group.
Missed Lessons
There are no make-up lessons. Make-up lessons will be given for teacher absence only, or bad weather making it unable to drive to lessons for out of town families. If you know you need to miss a lesson try to switch times with another family. You will receive a lesson schedule with phone numbers.
Violin and Music Related Supplies
Students will need to provide their own violin. They should not purchase or rent the instrument without first meeting with the teacher. Violins come in different sizes and your teacher can help decide which size is right for you. It is recommended that the instrument is rented rather than purchased since it will need to be exchanged for larger sizes as the student grows. Students will also need to purchase Suzuki Violin Book one to begin their lessons.
Performance Shirts
When performing at various events a performance tee shirt will be required. These shirts can be purchased from the teacher.
